When you think about it, it's very bizarre. Like in The Batman, the inside of Bruce's home looks like that- a UK Victorian and kinda gothic house- but it's inside a tall building that looks like it was built in the 1950's or later.
The inside aesthetic implies that it was originally that way and just maintained, but the reality of it implies no; it was more modern, and Bruce or his dad made it look that way intentionally.
This kinda reinforces that, considering his condo was blown up in The Batman, this is what he restored it to.
It's also kinda bizarre that it's not a manor or mansion; it's a condo in a high-rise building.
