That was the OG plan in TDK, but because the cape wasn’t in danger of getting caught in the wheel, they let him keep it (was gonna fold into the backpack shape like in Hong Kong - which is still neat though less cinematic and would showcase the worst areas of that batsuit!)
The shorter, normal bike probably made the free flowing cape dangerous.
