I want to think that's all it is, that they are just there to finish out Man of Tomorrow; however, Ellison allowed Alex Kurtzman to continue to produce, write, and create the worst and most despised era of Star Trek to the point the franchise is dead.
Star Trek is so dead, that for the first time since The Next Generation, there will not be any Star Trek projects in production. And let me remind you, The Next Generation started in 1987.
So to me, that's kind of a red flag that things won't get fixed, and there's a good chance they'll stay on to continue to make Troma DC for years to come, as it just crumbles as a brand.
